All our sneakers are listed in standard US sizing. To convert from men’s to women’s sizes, add 1.5 sizes to the men’s size (for example, a men’s 7 is equivalent to a women’s 8.5).
Customers often prefer sizing up for a more comfortable fit in our Center and All-American franchises. Try a ½ size above your normal sneaker size.
The black and gum version of The Center High-Top carries forward a silhouette that changed the game in 1944 and still holds its ground today. When most canvas shoes were light and flimsy, P.F. Flyers redefined footwear with durable rubber construction and the revolutionary Posture Foundation insole. The result was a sneaker that worked as hard as the people who wore it.
This vintage-inspired black and gum edition refines the classic with subtle updates. The high-top profile delivers timeless structure, while the gum rubber outsole grounds the look in heritage sport style. Durable 10oz canvas nods to retro materials and softens with wear, developing character over time. Inside, modern comfort upgrades ensure the fit feels as good as it looks. Finished with a tonal P.F. Flyers ankle patch, our signature rubber toe cap, and polished silver eyelets for sharp contrast, this supportive black high-top sneaker proves that true icons don’t need reinvention: just thoughtful evolution.
I recently discovered PF Flyers and wanted to try them out. I took advantage of the $1.98 return policy to dial in my size and found that these run 1 full size smaller than Chucks, so be sure to size up. The materials and craftsmanship are much better than chucks, in my opinion. I highly recommend trying these out.
Love these shoes! I’ve been wearing PF Flyers for 20 years (although it’s become difficult to find them in Canada). I usually get black on black, but I couldn’t resist the gum soles. I also love the patch! I’m a narrow 7, and the 7 fits me perfectly. We will see how these hold up compared to my previous pairs which were all purchased before the changeover.
The aesthetics of this show are classic looking and minimalist. The show is low to ground so you feel grounded with a great cushion to feel comfortable.
I'm new to PF Flyers. This shoe was my 2nd attempt at finding the right size. I'm normally a size 10, but on my first attempt in a size 10, my toes were jammed. This pair I went with a 10.5, and I still feel it on my big toes. I bought myself yet another pair and nailed it at size 11. You will want to size up. Love these shoes.
The all american low top with new balance all green foam insole from when NB was in charge i had these low tops in storage a late overdue review great shoe very light and comfortable.
These shoes were a gift for my 72 year old Aunt. Black and gold are the colors for the school At which she works. She was absolutely thrilled with her new “Spirit Shoes”
I’ve wanted a pair of these since I found out they were making a comeback. I finally took the plunge when I found out that they made a version with all gum rubber soles. Growing up in the late 70’s my parents would always buy me these hideous shoes with gum rubber soles all I remember is that the soles would actually outlast the shoes. These definitely don’t disappoint sharp classic style with practically indestructible soles. I love them!
Great shoes!! I bought some Converse 2 years ago and they started ripping on the inside.
So I am a 70 year old P.F.Flyer man.
Thank you and may God bless you all.
I got my first pair of PF 7 years ago and they are still in great shape so i decided I want to get another pair and still after 7 years they have the same great quality
The shoes look great but the toe box is very narrow. I did buy 1/2 size bigger in anticipation of that but still had to put them on a stretcher. Before buying I reached out for advice on your website about whether any particular style ran wider but never heard back.
When I was wearing them a friend told me they used to be called fish heads!!!
Pls consider widening at the toes- I do like the styles and colors offered.
