All our sneakers are listed in standard US sizing. To convert from men’s to women’s sizes, add 1.5 sizes to the men’s size (for example, a men’s 7 is equivalent to a women’s 8.5).
Customers often prefer sizing up for a more comfortable fit in our Center and All-American franchises. Try a ½ size above your normal sneaker size.

Nothings beats grounders when it comes to quality build. I have yet to own a pair longer than 6 months of continuous wear but these things are rock solid. No kidding I expect these to last longer than I do, lol!
True to size, looks amazing and comfortable. I'm usually at 9.5 wide, but this regular 9.5 is enough width for my feet since it's not too narrow. Great packaging & built way better than Chucks, not even close!
My black PF Flyers are so cool. I love them!! They are so me. They are funk with jeans & a black tee! And, they are comfy, too. Give them a try for yourself.
As an Above Knee (AK) amputee comfort, fit and the ability to easily pull the shoe onto my prosthetic foot is a must. The PF Grounder fills all those requirements, the pull strap on the heel makes it easy for me to put shoe on. The look of the Grounder series shoes with the extensive rubber toe protection this is a shoe I can depend on to last thru any environment.
I love these shoes. They’re comfortable and don’t feel narrow which is an issue I always had with Converse and I don’t even have wide feet! I’ve been wearing them pretty much everyday for an while and they seem really well made. The only gripe I have is that the laces they come with are a material I hate so I switched them out immediately. Fun to personalize them anyway. Definitely recommend
I really wanted to love these shoes but unfortunately have had such a bad experience with them. The first month the break in period was terrible and shoe hurt to wear. After a month they started to get more comfortable, but then the back started ripping, as shown in the pictures, and has gradually gotten worse. Then because of that it’s ripped holes in some of my nice socks…
The sizing is perfect and I love all my other PF flyer shoes but these shoes just look good, don’t feel good. I chose these because the 1993 was out of stock. Next time I’ll just wait.
My girlfriend has been a big fan of PF Flyers for years now and needed a new pair, so I decided to surprise her with a pair and pick up one of my own. Since the 93 Center Lo was out of stock in my size, I went for the Grounder (I only want an all black shoe).
It's an absolutely beautiful shoe and fits my style perfectly, but unfortunately I'm pretty disappointed with the fit so far. There is an uncomfortable amount of heel slippage despite getting the same size that so far has been perfect for me with every other brand. I'm also noticing blistering of the outer blade of my foot near where my toes start from walking around in them all day -- though that seems like the type of thing to go away after breaking them in.
Hoping the heel slippage goes away too, but I'm not feeling optimistic about that. I kind of wish I could try out a half size smaller to see if that helps, but I also don't want to exchange them and discover that that size doesn't fit at all. Overall feeling a bit disappointed by a shoe I had heard so many good things about.
These shoes look great!
First time wearing them two different people asked me who made them!! I bought two pair, Black/Black & Olive/Black. They are super comfortable so far!!
I like the sole in particular. Grips the pavement and even in a wet sidewalk they're great!
What a great pair of shoes: comfort, styling and quality materials and construction all in one. The styling brought back earlier memories and is what interested me to purchase a pair. I was not the least disappointed. My 40ish daughters and SIL even commented. I thought- not bad for an old guy. Thank you, PF Flyers!
I wear anything from 10.5 to 12. Depends on the manufacturer. Lately been finding my sweet spot at 11.5. These fit great at 11.5. Comfortable right out of the box. More comfortable than my Van’s for walking.
Excellent build quality. Fantastic arch support. A great 'go anywhere, do anythng' shoe.
My first pair. Will buy more once I see how the wear in.
Well done for making a great shoe!
I love them. They are not a difficult to put on as my hightops. I always wanted "PF Flyers" when I was a kid in the 60's but we couldn't afford them. I remember Saturday morning cartoons and the "PF Flyer" ads. "Run Faster, Jump Higher."
Everything about my purchase and satisfaction with this pair of Grounder PF Flyers is just fine.
However, I really wanted to purchase the Base Camp model, which has been out of stock for quite some time. Ive been waiting for several months, hoping the Base Camp model would be available.
Love them. Girl friend really likes the style. Will be looking for another pair. The sizing guide was helpful. The shoes seem to run narrow but going up a half size was helpful.
